Google Analytics is a free service provided by www.google.com that offers you advanced website analysis - To use this service with STORE websites all you have to do is

a) Apply online for Google Analytics Account
b) Add the details to the Google Section in the Integration Options on your website
c) Paste HTML code into the Source Section on pages that need increased review analysis such as your shopping basket

How to enter your Google Analytics details


1) Log into your Site Admin area.
2) Go to the 'Integration' tab and click on 'SEO'
3) Enter your unique analytics code in to the 'Google Analytics Code' box.

Enter the code eg. "UA-123456-78" here and the script will be added to each page on the site.

This will allow your website to interact with Google Analytics and provide all the details that Google needs to monitor activity on the website.

 

Google Webmaster Tools


Google Webmaster Tools provides you with detailed reports about your pages' visibility on Google. To get started, simply add and verify your site and you'll start to see information right away.

a) Apply online for a Google Webmaster Tools Account
b) Add the details to the Google Verification Section in the Integration Options on your website
 

How to enter your Google Webmaster Tools details


1) Log into your Site Admin area.
2) Go to the 'Integration' tab and click on 'SEO'
3) Enter your unique analytics code in to the 'Google Verification Code' box.

  • Select 'Add Site' or 'Verify'
  • Select the 'Alternate Methods' option/tab
  • Select 'Add a meta tag to your site's home page' - you will be presented with a long bit of code e.g.

  • Copy the long digit code ONLY and paste in to your website i.e.
