Allocating on account payments

This guide will show you how to allocate on account payments for a customer against outstanding invoices

 

STEP 1
Under 'Invoices & Payables,' click 'Accounts Receivable.'

 

STEP 2

 

'On Account Payments' will be shown in blue.

 Highlight the entry you want to allocate and press 'Allocate' at the bottom

STEP 3

 

A window with outstanding invoices will appear.

To pay an invoice in full, doubleclick the invoice you wish to pay.

To make a partial payment on an invoice, click on 'This time' column and enter dollar value.

Fill in the standard fields on the remittance screen, then press 'Update Remittance' at the bottom
