Bing Verification

Verifying your site with Bing is a way to tell Bing.com that your site exists. It will ultimately give you greater exposure to those people who use Bing.com as their search engine.

Step 1 -Sign up for Bing Webmaster Tools

Click this link to register/login - its FREE: www.bing.com/toolbox/webmaster

Step 2 - Add your site to Bing Webmaster Tools

Once logged in you should see a link for 'Add Site' - simply type in the full URL of your website e.g. http://www.yoursite.com

Step 3 - Verify your site

Once you have added your site, you should be given some options to 'Verify Ownership'

Locate the option that reads 'Copy and paste a tag in your default webpage' - this may be referenced as a 'meta tag'

You will be given some options as per the screenshot below.

Locate the meta tag line of code and copy the code ONLY (circled below)



Next, log in to the Site Admin of your website and navigate to Integration > SEO

Locate the field titled 'Bing Verification Code'

Paste in the unique code that you copied from your Bing Webmaster Tools account e.g.



Thats it!

NOTE: It may take some time for Bing to pick up the verification - please allow 24 hours.
