Client Installation Guide

 

The following will describe how to install a standard network client, to complete the install the user must have local administrator rights and a mapped drive to the Enterprise folder on the server, please see your IT administrator if you are unsure how to set this up.

 

STEP 1

Click the ‘Download’ button to begin downloading the client package -Download- 
Click SAVE on the first window
When the download is finished, extract the files to your desktop, then click the PromoServeClient icon on your desktop

 

STEP 2

Click ‘I Accept’ on the Terms & Conditions

 

STEP 3

Now make sure you have chosen ‘Thick Client’ at the top of the window.
If you wish to change the location where Enterprise is installed, click on ‘Browse’ next to the Client Installation area.
In the ‘Server Location’ section, click ‘Browse’ and navigate to the Enterprise folder on your mapped drive.

 

STEP 4

If you wish to change how the Enterprise folder appears in your Programs list, you can do so here. Otherwise, click next.

 

STEP 5

Put ticks in both of these boxes to auto launch the alert messaging system and Download on Demand on startup, then click NEXT at the bottom.

 

STEP 6

Click NEXT on this window after checking the details are correct.

 

STEP 7

You will now see the installation begin and complete.

 

STEP 8

Once the installation has finished, click the ‘Finish’ button at the bottom.

 

STEP 9

You need to run Enterprise for the first time to fully complete the installation. Do this by clicking the newly created Enterprise icon on your desktop.

 

STEP 10

Now enter the password ‘demo’ and click ‘Connect’

 

STEP 11

Now you will see the final part of the installation take place. Once this is finished, log back into Enterprise. With this, you are finally ready to start using Customer Focus Enterprise!
