Product Comparisons Helpsheet
This help sheet will assist you in using the Product Comparisons routine in the system. The Product Comparisons routine allows the user to compare the sales of two products in a specific time frame. You can also compare two particular categories in the same standard.
1. Navigate to Marketing followed by Product Comparisons.
2. You will then be greeted by the following screen.
Please find below a key showing what each of these options does and how to configure the correct analysis that suits you.
A) Use this button to select the date you would like the analysis to begin on
B) Use this button to select the date you would like the analysis to end on.
C) Using the magnifying glass button will bring up your product database. Select the first product you would like to compare.
D) Using the magnifying glass button will bring up your product database. Select the second product you would like to compare.
E) Define whether a customer has spent more than this amount (in total) on Product A.
F) Define whether a customer has spent less than or equal to this amount on Product B
G) Click on this tab to compare two products.
H) Click on this tab to compare two categories.
I) Use this button to run the analysis and load the results screen.
3. You will then be greeted with the Sales Comparison Results screen.
Using the product analysis as the example above, you can see what results you will be given. The analysis shows you a list of customers who have purchased either one or both of the products. You will see both the quantity and value of products A and B. The percentage column will show the percentage difference of the two products.
Using the tabs on the left hand side, you can order the analysis by any of the columns and switch between ascending and descending using the button.
You can then use the button to add a call in to the scheduler for the customers shown in the analysis results.
You may also Export the results into a spreadsheet using the button or print to a .pdf/paper using the
button.
