How to Backup Promoserve (SQL)
You can perform a backup of your SQL system from within Promoserve.
*Please note this must be performed on the server machine and does NOT apply to our cloud based system.
- On your Server machine, log on to your Promoserve system.
- Click on File followed by Backup.
- Please make sure that you are the only user logged in to the system and running this on the server machine.
- The Promoserve Backup options will appear. You can backup; Bins, Data, Language, Emails, Documents, Templates, Reports and INI’s and Icons. Click on the Settings Icon
to make sure that your ODBC details are located in the correct fields. Also select a destination for the backup to be placed. Once ready to perform the backup, select the save icon.
- You will see the prompted window performing the backup.
- Your backup dump file can now be found in your destination folder.
